"Where do you get your ideas?"
People ask me where I get my ideas. Ideas are everywhere, just waiting for you to tune in. The idea for my book about Clara Schumann, Her Piano Sang, was planted years ago when I was a young girl taking piano lessons. Invite me to your school sometime, and I'll tell you the whole story.

What is biography?
As you may already know, I love to write about real people. Those books are called biography. When I start a book, I'm eager to learn all about the person, but I'm not an expert. The fun begins when I search out all the information I can. When the book is finished, it's not easy to say good-bye to the person I've come to know.

I hope you'll enjoy exploring this website and reading my stories. Have fun, and happy reading!
